In this workshop, participants will focus on strategies for preventing conflicts by teaching and modeling tools for managing difficult emotions such as anger, frustration, and disappointment.

Additional Session Details
Participants will learn to use calming techniques including meditation, relax¬ation exercises, movement breaks, and sensory materials to help young people release, express, and learn from emotions. Participants will also explore structures and routines, such as restorative circles, for allowing young people to express and make sense of difficult feelings.
